Episode 25: Not Your Average COVID19 Vaccine Myths

We are over one year into the COVID-19 pandemic and there are many speculations and concerns about how safe and effective the COVID-19 vaccines are. This fear is rightfully justified, given the ways in which Western medicine and research have abused communities of color. In this episode, we invite Dr. PaFoua Yang, an OBGYN by trade, from St. Paul, MN to discuss the COVID-19 vaccines. Understanding the current urgency of the pandemic, Dr. PaFoua Yang helps us debunk the myths that we have read and/or heard throughout our communities. Join us in this special episode as we explore ways to flip the narrative so that our families and communities understand the importance of getting vaccinated.
